Jack

Jack Gloeckner has been living in Athens, Oh, for the past 65 years of his life. He has worked everywhere from Bromley dining hall to OU grounds crew. Now Jack works at the Happy Cat Drive Thru beer and snack shop where he spends his evenings loading up the cars of his friendly customers and watching the game show network.

Inside the Cooler

Jack Gloeckner, 65, refills 12 packs of Miller at the Happy Cat Drive Thru on West Union Street. Gloeckner has been working at the Happy Cat since about a month after its opening last year. Recently the Happy Cat, along with many other Athens beer distributors, has been forced by the Liquor Control Board to crack down on underage drinking. “I either need 500 dollars or I need to see I.D.!” Gloeckner explained to the customers. Sand Dollar

The soft white sand beaches of Sarasota , Florida are constantly rated as some of the most beautiful in the world.

Red Tide

Every summer thousands of toursist visit the beaches of the west coast of Florida to find that their vacation time will be shared with the time of their annual red tide. Red Tide is when thousands of fish in the Gulf of Mexico are killed by dinoflagellate algae blooming and producing toxins that are deadly. These toxins are also harmful to the innocent tourists causing respiratory irritation and infections.

Waters was called safe to recieve Ohio's third and last run of the game. The two teams met at Ohio on April 27, 2005 and the game concluded with a final score of 3-1 Ohio.

Sixteen month-old, Ziah Kisor, spends her days in the Athens, Oh, tattoo shop, Decorative Injections. Her father, and owner, Jimmy Kisor has been working at Decorative Injections for nine years. He became the owner when a friend moved away to Scotland. (05/18/05)
